In 24 hours this blog site will no longer be active. I have been shut down for violating community standards.  Its an end to a long run I had in the blogosphere, but its over now.  The haters have won.  But if you want to stay up with what I'm doing, click on this link .  Thanks for reading all these years. 

I haven't posted in a few days but there is a reason. My account was temporarily suspended. Apparently there were a bunch of complaints saying that I violated community standards of this platform. So I was unable to post while it was being looked into.  It was more than likely the Anthony Aguero people because I have had a lot of traffic on those posts lately ever since the last CNN story.  Since my account is no longer suspended, it was a wake-up call to move to a platform where no one can try to silence me.  And when you think about it, it says a lot about the people trying to silence me. They don't like what they say, so rather than engage me on the facts or opinion I express - they'd rather just try to shut me down.  Whats worse is they try to operate from the shadows.  Say what you want about me - love me or hate me - I stand by words and won't ever back down. So a Republican reader of mine sent me a screen shot that I posted on Facebook the other day and I didn't realize how problematic it was until just yesterday.  Irene "La Mentirosa" Jackson was given a serious beat down by El Paso Democratic Congresswoman Veronica Escobar in the 2020 election has not gotten over her loss. In fact, she started to fundraise for a recount of an election that she lost almost 3-1.  For some reason, local El Paso Republican sheep contributed to the lost cause recount.  She's still on that crazy Trump train of stolen elections and such.  She frequently has tried to use social media to try to keep herself relevant to her merry band of nut jobs that make up the GOP in El Paso.  I didn't realize that she had actually posted details about Vice President Harris' visit to the Borderland prior to the details being made public.  So how does a Republican Congressional candidate know details about where the Vice President was going to be bef...

Martin Paredes' pendejadas make me laugh. Paredes is a blogger who wants to pose as a legitimate news source. What he writes is as much opinion as what I write.  The difference is, I go out of my way to remind people I'm not a news sources. I'm an opinion page, just like he is.  He tries to call his various pages "news" but they aren't. He's dangerous because a lot of people mistake him for a legitimate news site. But if he was a legitimate news site, he'd be as corrupt as the crazies think regular media is.  So let me tell you what most of you probably don't know, but I do.  Paredes is using his "news" site in an effort to try to cover for Lily Limón because he has a long-time political and business relationship with the Sun Circle partnership.  Yes, the guy who pretends to be a reporter appears to be more about pay-to-play. According to a police report, two different current and former elected officials have alleged that former City Rep Lily Limón was involved in an altercation in which she allegedly assaulted them.  The incident is alleged to have occurred last night during a campaign fundraiser and announcement for County Commissioner Carl Robinson who represents Precinct 4. Robinson's campaign team is Sun Circle, which is run by former City Representative Eddie Holguin and Lily Limón.  The allegation was made by El Paso County Democratic Party Chairwoman Dora Oaxaca-Rivera and El Paso County Democratic Party Secretary and former EPISD Trustee Isela Castoñon-Williams.  Typically the El Paso County Democratic Party Chairperson attends fundraisers and campaign events of all the Democratic Candidates seeking office during a primary to help foster unity and send the message that the Party will be neutral in a primary election. Israel Irrobali soundly defeated his opponent Vanessa Betts in the run-off election to gain a seat on the El Paso Independent School District Board of Trustees representing the far northeast area. And thanks to Vanessa Betts' political operatives, the El Paso County Democratic Party looks weak, if not completely irrelevant - especially when you consider she had more resources available to her in terms of funding and they replaced Wesley Lawrence with Mike Apodoca for the run-off.  Irrobali ended up winning by 25% (62% to 37%), which is sound thumping in an election. More than a thumping - its a humiliating defeat when you lose by that wide of a margin.  There's no way to formulate some sort of moral victory out of losing by that margin in a run-off. What that kind of defeat when the campaign expenditures are virtually even does mean is that it was a failure in basically every part of the campaign from field to volunteer recruitment to messaging.  I don't know what it was ...

A parent posed as her daughter at a middle school in San Elizario recently, and attended all of her daughter's classes. The woman, who's name is Casey Garcia, stated she did it as a "social experiment". She took video of her little caper and posted it online. She is in another video getting arrested on a traffic warrant bragging about how the video of her in school had gone viral.  If you haven't seen the videos, let me help you out. This first one is video of her posing as her daughter and going through most of the school day.  I watched the videos and watched the comments and it looks like she's moderating the comments closely so that only positive comments are allowed so there is a lot of praise for what she did but mentioned getting heat for the stunt, too.  Frankly, that doesn't make any sense.
