Republican Felon Appears in Trump Wall Video
Convicted felon and Republican anti-immigrant operative Anthony Aguero appeared in a video released by the Trump campaign that was centered about how a border wall would make El Paso safe. Trump has come under criticism from El Pasoans, and even El Paso's ONLY Republican elected official, Mayor Dee Margo, for lying about the security situation of El Paso. Trump alleged that we were one of the most dangerous and violent places to live in America. That is factually inaccurate. Have we had times of higher property crime rates than what we have now? Sure. But at no point in our history were we ever one of the most violent or dangerous places to live. That is just factually inaccurate. Or as we call it in El Paso, a flat-out lie.
