A New Beginning

We're thrilled to announce that we're reigniting the spark and rebranding our blog, bringing it back to life with renewed energy and a fresh perspective - but still committed to kickin' it real. It's been a long road over the years, and a lot has changed since we stepped away from blogging a couple of years ago. Now, we're eager to reconnect with you and keep pace with the evolving digital landscape.

Let's pull over for a second and talk about "we". This isn't a solo endeavor. We are working with some new people who want to contribute to the El Paso area political conversation. Some folks don't want to use their name - which is understandable because sometimes people can be assholes. So this is an umbrella operation. So if you want to submit something, we can work that out.

As part of our relaunch, we're going with a content strategy to engage and inform our community. Expect to see daily posts here covering a spectrum of vital topics tailored to our readers in El Paso and beyond. We aim to keep you updated, intrigued, and inspired with content that matters.

One of the new developments we're excited about is expanding our presence across multiple platforms. We're now on TikTok now, (click the link to follow us) where we'll share quick insights and updates. TikTok will be more loosey goosey with updates. We are on twitter as well - @915politics if you wanna follow. Might be several posts a day, might go a couple days without something new. But people have been asking for a podcast, because while there are a million podcasts out there, there isn't a local political podcast. Well, not done well anyway. So we're going to do one weekly, where we'll delve deeper into the issues that influence our lives and our beloved city.

Our commitment remains steadfast: to ask the informed questions, examine campaign platforms, and conduct detailed analyses on issues critical to the community. We want to provide you with a profound understanding of how policymakers in El Paso impact YOUR daily life.

Our mission is to frame a platform that brings you closer to the people shaping our community. We'll try to interview as many policymakers, decision makers, and candidates as possible. Through thought-provoking conversations, we aim to bridge the gap between you and the complexities of local governance.

That means San Eli, Horizon City, Clint, Canutillo, Sunland Park, and the ISD's too.

Additionally, we're opening doors for those interested in supporting our mission. If you believe in the work we do and want to support us, you'll have the opportunity to advertise on our site. Your support will help us continue to provide valuable content and foster engaged, informed citizens.

We're genuinely excited about this new chapter and look forward to sharing it with each of you.

Your Pals,

The El Paso Politics Blog Team
