Caballero Defends Yvonne Rosales

Okay, I'm just gonna rip the band aide off here. This is a still image from an interview with Theresa Caballero on KVIA.

This is what happens when lawyers cosplay after binging Marvel series' on Disney Plus.

Don't get mad at me - you thought the same thing when you saw the story. And I'm not the one who took her to Sally's Beauty to buy that green(ish) dye she's rocking for TV lately.

Anywho, I don't see why there was a news story that appears to be solely for the sake of providing a platform for a lawyer to speak in favor of Rosales. I mean what is the news angle? She's was a campaign supporter of Rosales. Seriously, what is the journalistic interest in this story. I just don't get it.

But it wouldn't at all surprise me if Caballero became Rosales attorney in the case. TC loves attention and a platform so she'd likely jump at an opportunity to use the case as a chance to put forth every crackpot conspiracy theory she can come up with.

And apparently she's following the Trump playbook by saying its an effort to "steal an election".

That is absolute horse shit.

The election happened. No one challenged the validity of the election. She won. No one disputed it and she took office and ascended to her office.

So no election was stolen. There are no Rosales votes stolen in Florida.

That is simply a flat-out lie on the part of Theresa Caballero.

Not an interpretation. Not a difference of opinion. Its just a flat-out lie.

No one has stolen anything. It is a legally-recognized mechanism that exists under the law. Don't like the law? Change it. But it is something that exists under the law.

Should it? I don't think so.

But there are a lot of elements of the law I disagree with that I nonetheless have to live with along with everyone else, until a higher court or a legislative body changes the law. Thats the system we live under.

Recall exists. Thats another legally-sanctioned method of removing someone from office.

Why so many people are afraid to call out Theresa Caballero on her bullshit is beyond me, but they shouldn't be.

The reality is this case may ultimately be a moot point because of the length of time it may be to even adjudicate the case. It could take so long that it no longer becomes relevant because she should very well be on her way out before this is sorted out anyway.

I mean lets be real for a minute - she's a one-termer if I ever saw one. Some of the very people who helped her get elected - contributed to her campaign - are now some of the loudest critics of the train wreck that has been her administration.

But if you watch the interview again - you know what you won't see? You won't see Caballero address a single thing actually alleged in the filing about Rosales. You won't hear her defend any of the pendejadas that are happening in the Rosales Regime.

In fact - lets be REAL about Theresa Caballero for a minute. She fashions her self to her group of flying monkey supporters, as some sort of crusader for the downtrodden defendants.

Puro pedo!

Had it been Esparza that had so many cases dismissed - over 300 - because defendants were just rotting around in County Jail, can you imagine the over-the-top press grabs Caballero would be making about such a thing?

Her hair would be on fire!

When in the history of El Paso County has that kind of shit ever happened before?

Lets not normalize the level of incompetence going on in that office right now.

We aren't imagining the level of disfunction happening in the DA's office.

The ridiculous over-the-top level of dysfunctional desmadres happening in that office are like a poorly-written last season of a show we all wanted to be great and turned out to be awful.

You know, like Game of Thrones.

I mean lets be honest - the only way things could POSSIBLY get worse in that office, and more last-season-of-GOT would be if Rosales suddenly decided to make Curtis Cox - the guy who screwed up so bad that a judge let a guy go because of judicial vindictiveness - the lawyer in charge of the Walmart Shooter case.

But that wouldn't every happen. It would be the biggest sign of incompetence of her administration that anyone could possibly imagine and would draw negative national news attention to our community. I mean how stupid would it be to appoint the guy who got a case dismissed for judicial vindictiveness - who has no death penalty experience and was pretty much just an internet troll that supported Rosales - to be in any way associated with the most important case this community has - or ever will - see?

No one could possibly be that stupid...
