Delirus Montanez Berrios - In Her Own Words
If you don't think about that before you run, I'm not obligated to protect your little feelings. We live in an age where information is more accessible than ever. I mean, its called the Information Age for a reason.
So I still scratch my head when someone runs for an office and I find out compromising information pretty easily because I ask myself, did they not think this was going to be an issue? Did they not think about this before they ran? Are they even aware that this information is available?
All of those questions cross my mind - especially in this election and especially in the 327th Dumpster Fire.
But I especially get a kick out of this when a candidate is running and they call me a bully for telling the truth about them.
Most of what I write is opinion and analysis. But when I'm pointing out something that is documented - I almost always post screen shots of what I found and links so that people can check my math on their own.
Candidates that whine about being bullied by my are trying to use emotional blackmail and I don't play that game with people.
Delirus Montanez Berrios is the latest example of a candidate who is mad that I told the truth about them. But let me make a general statement about "bullying". First, telling the truth about you isn't bullying. You should've considered that before you ran for office. Second, its not my job to cover-up your messes once you've become a candidate. Also, and I can't express this one enough to you. Candidates, I don't really think about you that often to bother "bullying" you. You're just not that important to me.
Or anyone else for that matter. See that's actually the challenge for candidates - who do you penetrate to voters the top 10 things they give a shit about and then manage to turn that into a vote.
Anywho, since DMB says I bully her I thought I would just make it easy for y'all. Rather than hear my opinion about her policies - I just posted screenshots so you could see for yourself what her responses were to a questionnaire she supplied me with in the first place.
How about I show you - in her own words - what she thinks about an issue crucial to border communities like ours?
I imagine she thinks this is a pretty popular stance - and it probably is, amongst people who participated in Insurrection Day or at Klan rallies.
Here's another fun little nugget. She voted for Trump and very proudly says so - something voters in this community soundly rejected - and she thinks she represents Democrats in El Paso?
