Que Serra, Serra

Whatever will be, will be.

More like whatever was, was.

Alexandria Serra is a candidate for the 327th District Court. Remember the other day when I wrote about Cori Harbour-Vasquez and her social media problem.

And by problem, I mean a picture of her and Chapo Guzman's wife - at the federal courthouse - during his trial.

If you recall in that post I mentioned that there are 4 candidates in that race and half the candidates in the 327th were sitting judges and half of them had big problems with their social media?

Well it turns out I was wrong.

Well, kinda wrong.

Turns out that 3 out of the 4 candidates in the race have judicial experience. Alexandria Serra apparently was also a judge. If you didn't know that, I don't blame you.

Serra never talks about it.

You'd thinking having experience on a bench would be something you'd want to highlight, like the other two judges in the race have done.

Right?

Yes.

Unless you have something to hide.

And if you have something to hide, why on earth did you decide to run in the first place?

Before I go on, let me explain something to you. Serra is really into social media. Homegirl loves the gram and apparently ... Tik Tok.

As I said the other day - and in basically every single campaign cycle for the last decade - social media is not a candidate's friend.

That goes for Alexandria Serra as well.

Allegedly, according to multiple sitting judges that I spoke to - Alexandria Serra was allegedly "separated involuntary" as a jail magistrate.

Allegedly it was because of a social media post that has since been deleted.

....

....

....

But C'mon...

....

....

....

y'all know I got it...allegedly.

So this is allegedly the video that led to Alexandria Serra being allegedly "separated involuntarily" as a jail magistrate...allegedly....

So for someone who fancies herself a Tik Tok lawyer giving advice to the public on her platforms...maybe y'all should take her advice with a grain of salt.

See the judicial adults in the room really don't like when a lawyer alleges that they are "off their meds"and "causing incompetence" - and then boasting that they "know more law and have been in more jury trials than they have in their entire careers".

Pretty sure its a violation of the judicial code of conduct - although I'm no lawyer so I could be wrong.

To say nothing of her allegedly mocking her "frequent flyer clients".

You see real judges have these pesky things called professional standards. And when you allegedly don't uphold those standards, you can allegedly face consequences, up to and including, allegedly of course - dismissal from the bench.

This of course can all be solved by Ms Serra answering a couple of simple questions posed to her.

Ultimately, that race has only two candidates voters should take seriously at this point. But seriously - Serra should answer questions about why she's no longer on the bench, especially because she never mentions that she was a judge.

The public has a right to know.
