Republican Congressional Candidate Campaigns with Indicted AG
The local GOP's congressional candidates are always one big joke. Its almost like they go out of their way to find the weirdest, most eccentric, craziest, most controversial, or most extreme candidate they can possibly find and make them their party's nominee.
Well, Irene "La Mentirosa" Armendariz Jackson is yet again running to earn the right to get beat by Congresswoman Escobar again in November 2022.
Well when I saw an invitation from Irene Armendariz Jackson for a fundraiser at Grace Gardens, I was so surprised to see the guest speaker that I thought it was a friend of mine having fun with MS Pic Art circa Windows 2000.
Because I thought, no candidate would be stupid enough to have this guy as the main speaker. But yet again, the El Paso GOP surpasses the level of stupidity I give them credit for.
Yes ladies and gentlemen, Irene Armendariz Jackson has an indicted elected official as her big campaign draw.
Yes ladies and gentlemen, that is indeed the one and only, indicted and embattled Attorney General of Texas, Mr. Ken Paxton.
Leave it to the El Paso GOP and Irene Armendariz Jackson to think this was a good idea. They make it too damn easy sometimes. I actually asked my source if today was my birthday because I thought this was so funny.
Only in the the bizarro world of the El Paso GOP do they have the audacity to put a line about "Championing the Rule of Law" on a flyer that features an indicted Attorney General. Its like the punchlines write themselves.
How is that guy gonna talk about championing the rule of law - say to do the opposite of what he does? Because that is the only thing that would make any sense now.
Just kidding y'all.
The El Paso GOP doesn't care about making any sense.
Division in the GOP
Irene Armendariz Jackson appears to be doing a good job of causing division in her own party. Here's another dose of Republican hypocrisy as it relates to the Rule of Law talking point she apparently loves to talk about.
On a post made by Republican EPISD Trustee Daniel Call, Irene Armendariz Jackson goes on the attack and she's fought off by the founders of Call Qaida hell bent on waging Yee-Hawd against Irene Armendariz Jackson.
So out of one side of her mouth, La Mentirosa is saying she's for law and order. Out of the other side of her mouth, she's saying that the cops "violently" handcuffed a white guy and said that Call should've interfered with a police officer making an arrest.
I'm totally confused by her at this point - it seems she's trying to say she's the law and order candidate and fuck the police at the same time.
