Joe Pickett's Pick?

I don't know who is running former State Rep Joe Pickett's run for city council, but judging by the logo they came up for the rebirth of his potential political career - he should fire them like, yesterday! 

As a matter of whether or not someone is going to win an election, the logo matters very little. Especially for a guy like Joe Pickett who has strong name ID among the older voters of the Eastside. But it does say a lot about the decision-making of this campaign team that actually presented this to him with a straight face at some point. 

But for an elected official who has had such a long and noteworthy career, you'd think he'd pick a political team that would at least have some sense packaging an established leader like Pickett. 

The man was once chairman of one of the most powerful and influential committees in the Texas legislature and his campaign design team came up with....

Fucking sparkles. 

Are you kidding me?

They came up with a logo that makes it look like he's running for student council president for an Eastside middle school. 

Where they going for the if-agua-mineral-were-a-campaign-logo look? I seriously don't understand what they were trying to accomplish here. 

It looks like a box of cereal with a commercial tag line that says something like, Try Joe's Pickett's today - now with more sparkles and road construction funds in every box!

Hey Joe, NBC in the 90's called, they want their Saturday morning cartoons PSA logo back!

Or maybe its a drug and gang-prevention non-profit that wants their shit back. 

All I know is that any campaign that uses that much cartoony, sparkles and stars has got to be run by people who don't have the first clue what they are doing in a campaign. 

Seriously who is his campaign team - The Care Bears?

Joe Pickett is a formidable candidate with a laundry list of accomplishments, I can't believe he's being packed like an energy drink with too much caffeine.
