The Caballero Coven ... Now I Get It....
So a lot of you are probably wondering what is Jennifer Caballero's beef on Facebook lately.
What is all the hub-bub about? Well the answer is simple.
Divorce.
For those of you who are fortunate enough to have never been involved in one, divorce brings out the absolute worst in people. Its pretty terrible.
But do you know why divorces are so expensive? Because they are worth it.
Anywho, Caballero is throwing around allegations of checks being cashed and some other Info Wars-style conspiracy theories.
Well I came across an interesting document and it made it all clear to me as to why Jennifer Caballero was such a vocal hater about two candidates running for judicial seat in a county she doesn't live in.
Yeah, she doesn't live here. She lives in Corpus Christi.
Turns out Jennifer Caballero didn't get the kids in the divorce. Any dad who has been through family court will tell you that no matter how good of a dad you are, the kids almost always go with mom. It sucks and its something that needs to change, but it is what it is.
Well Caballero's kids were actually split between her and her now ex-husband. So she clearly doesn't like Ness Garcia because she doesn't like the outcome of the divorce. She doesn't like Strathmann because she happened to be the judge in the case.
So now I understand why all the hater aide.
Divorces suck.
But I got curious as to why the arrangement with the kids was the way it was.
Wait, let me stop here for a second and explain something. No one put a gun to Jennifer Caballero's head to bring up her divorce and weaponize it against candidates. She did that all on her own and she can't bring it up and not expect some scrutiny.
You know the ol' saying - live by the sword, die by the sword.
Anywho...I started snooping around into court documents to get to the bottom of what transpired that inspired so much rage-posting.
And I think I figured it out.
According to the divorce documents - which are public record - two of her children alleged physical abuse by Jennifer Caballero. On the second page of the order the court conferred with the children and "two of the children alleged Petitioner had physically abused them by slapping them, pulling their hair and spitting on them."
Jennifer Caballero was the Petitioner in the divorce.
Let that marinate for a moment.
Allegedly slapping them.
Allegedly pulling their hair.
Allegedly spitting on them.
Not one child - but two of them - both saying the same thing.
Seriously...spitting on them?
Just let that sink in for a minute. Just put yourselves in the kids' shoes for a minute and imagine that.
Thats pretty damn heartbreaking if you ask me.
So now it makes sense where all this rage and bitterness comes from on the part of Jennifer Caballero. That humiliation, anger, and bitterness has to go somewhere, right? So its being aimed at her divorce lawyer and the judge.
But hey, don't take my word for it. Here's a screenshot of that section of the divorce:
