The Caballero Clan Backs Republican

Theresa Caballero is really pissed that her sister Jennifer lost her kids in the divorce. So the duo have been trashing everyone remotely connected to the case all over social media. 

I have no idea why a court felt that the kids were better off with their dad than with their mom, but thats not for me to decide. We, as a society should stop complaining about having so many absent fathers, and then complain the the occasional dad actually wins in court. And its occasional because we have a judicial system that inherently favors mothers when it comes to custody disputes. 

So Theresa and Jennifer Caballero are your typical school yard bullies. You know the type and they've had that reputation for years, long before I came along. So now they are going after Lyda Ness Garcia, even making a play on words with her name. And of course, its all personally life bullshit. 

But like most bullies, they cry foul when you put the microscope on them. And seriously, don't we all have personal life bullshit? I mean I don't hear anyone making fun of - or asking why - Jennifer Caballero got her kids taken away. 

And frankly, its no one's business. 

But she is all over social media making some pretty outlandish allegations that I KNOW aren't true. One is that Jennifer Caballero allegedly sees Lyda around the courthouse and that when she does, Lyda goes and scurries off as quickly as she can. 

Well, while I acknowledge that there are probably a lot of people who would rather avoid the Caballeros on sight, I know her story is a complete fabrication made to look like Jennifer Caballero is somehow Debo from the Friday series and that every makes way for her when she walks around the courthouse. 

Thats a pretty tall tale for someone to claim when the practice law in Corpus Christi courts and not El Paso courts. Its also pretty tall tale when you consider the court house has been closed since this alleged event happened due to the pandemic. In fact, I can only find one case in El Paso in which a Jennifer Caballero is counsel. 

TC has always done her best to make herself try to be relevant. While she thinks she's some sort of influencer, I'm just curious to know how many times she has to be rejected by voters before she gets the hint that voters don't like her?

Anywho, the Caballero Sisters have deployed a small armada of flying monkeys to spread their vitriol on social media, which are the some of the same flying monkeys who similarly attacked another judicial candidate on behalf of the Caballero Sisters earlier this cycle. 

So because of their personal beef - Theresa Caballero, a former Democratic candidate for office, is now supporting a Republican for office. The Caballero sisters are supporting Phyllis Gonzalez over the candidate from her own party. 

Unless the Caballero Sisters have decided to completely sell out their political principles because of their personal inability to cope. 

Oh well, ni modo. But it is interesting that Phyllis Gonzalez is their choice. I think a lot of people would have a difficult time supporting someone for a court who's job it would be to interpret and follow the law when they clearly can't follow the science and guidelines of the CDC when it comes to wearing a mask in a group sitting close to one another in a small confined area. 

Here's Phyllis, who's signs don't say she's a Republican, sitting in what the Republicans themselves characterize as a "packed house" for a meet and greet with LTC Allen West, the new State Chairman of the Texas GOP. 

So Phyllis Gonzalez wants to have it both ways, which in politics you just can't. You can't go play Republican to your Trump-supporting extremists, and then turn around and expect Democrats to vote for you. Thats just not how it works. 

But hey, thanks to the Caballero Sisters, she now has my attention. Lets really examine her GOP record, shall we?
