Rosales Finance Report Contradicts Forum Answer
Or in lay person's speak - she wasn't honest.
DA Candidate Yvonne Rosales was asked directly at a forum who her three biggest contributors were and what impact their contributions would have on her if elected. She was asked the question by Dr. Kathleen Staudt.
The question about the campaign contributions was posed to Rosales at the Westside Democrats candidate forum. "What are the names of your top three donors..."

But her campaign finance report says something very different. Most of the people on her donor list are attorneys, which isn't surprising in the least. But she went to the trouble of characterizing her donations as mostly around $200 and never actually said who her largest donors were and what influence they would have. She completely dodged that question.
Why the lie of omission? Your guess is as good as mine, but she conveniently left out those thousand dollar contributions from John Mimbela and an attorney named Curtis Cox.

Now look, she knew about those contributions. There were only four people who made large donations to her account, so she didn't forget them. She most certainly didn't forget Mimbela because last DA race all of challengers were maneuvering to win the Mimbela lottery because they knew he was gonna go big against the incumbent.
Now look, are the amounts really all that important? No, they really aren't. But kinda like everything in the Trump Administration, the cover-up is worth than the crime, so to speak.
Its that she wasn't forthwith about her contributions, not what the contributions actually were.
And when you run on a platform of "integrity" and its such a big part of your message that you actually have it printed on your lit, well developments like this REALLY have an impact on campaign credibility.
Which leads me to Curtis Cox.
He's the guy that goes straight-up nuts on Facebook about the DA race. Now you know why, he dropped a grand on thee race!
