The DA Race Freak Show

I don't think anyone could have ever predicted that he DA race would end up being pretty much a freak show, but it has and it has me thoroughly entertained.

A while ago I asked rhetorically what ever happened to Yvonne Rosales? Well it turns out, she may have turned to the Dark Side.

And by Dark Side, I mean she seems to be hanging around an Raza-hating, pocho-vendido, Trump supporting extremist Republican who supports Trumps and harasses immigrants...none other than Pedro Aguero...aka Conservative Anthony.

I guess they are now BFF's.

Seriously, what self-respecting Democrat would ever associate with a guy like Conservative Anthony? That guy has an anti-immigrant platform and has stalked and harassed immigrants, mostly women, for his internet videos. This is a Democratic Primary, not a general election.

I mean, lets not forget that her former fiancé, who was on her campaign committee earlier this year, Roger "The Tree Shooter" Montoya is also a candidate for the same office. Yes, an attorney with a criminal record expects voters to take him seriously in a bid for District Attorney.

He really thinks voters are that damn stupid.

Anywho, Rosales is inexplicably friends with Aguero.

I guess all that Republican pro-Trump went to her head because she's now rage-posting on social media in a non-coherent, weirdly capitalized way, something very similar to Trump himself.

What in the Donal Trump Tweet Hell is that?

A potential DA that is all chummy with a Republican extremist like Aguero should scare the hell out of everyone. 

My favorite part of all of this is some lawyer troll who recently started talking shit about me who's name is Curtis Cox. First of all, am I supposed to be afraid of you because you're a lawyer? If you thought so, think again Buttercup. The last people in the world that should be trying to talk shit about me are lawyers who's last name is Cox.

Come on man, you're a lawyer who's last name is Cox...I mean I don't even have to try...that shit writes itself...

Seriously, I'm probably gonna make him cry at some point now that he has my attention. Which doesn't look too hard because after I saw some weird ass drawings he posted of James Montoya's lit, I seriously wonder if Cox is missing a diagnosis. That little art project is some serious One Flew Over the Coco's Nest shit.

If Montoya gets some weird crazy note made up of letters that look like they were cut out magazines, I know who I'd be looking at right away...

All I'm saying is that if you see Cox at the courthouse in a red leisure suit, an orange vest, and a green shirt, it ain't gonna surprise me...

The Clown Prince of Cox is apparently quite the Rosales supporter. I'm sure he's gonna win her lots of votes!

But the absurdity doesn't stop with lawyers making drawings like they are the mayor of Crazytown. 

Karen Dykes has campaign material that - no bullshit - dedicates a pretty significant amount of space to her spouse's accomplishments instead of her own.

Is Eddie Holguin even trying to pretend he cares about his clients' races if he's letting stuff like that end up on campaign material?

Obviously that's a rhetorical question...Eddie Holguin cares about as much for his clients as Chente Quintanilla cares about doing Zumba.

The bottom line is that the race for District Attorney should be the most important race we are talking about right now. We have the biggest case to ever happen in our community going on right now. We are one of, if not the only, community that will be able to actually prosecute a mass murder. The entire country is going to be watching how we handle this case. The entire country is going to watch how our legal process works in one of the highest-profile cases in history. 

And we basically have only one serious candidate who is actually a prosecutor, a defense lawyer that allies herself with an anti-immigrant Republican who harasses asylum seekers, a defense lawyer that has multiple convictions and once shot a tree that was mad-dogging him, and a defense lawyer who touts her spouse's experience instead of her own.
