Tamayo Violates City Campaign Rules
I could, and will, go over Elisa Tamayo's lack of experience and why its bad for El Paso in a later post, but for now I want to talk about something I noticed last night.
A buddy of mine in the TDP told me that Tamayo tried to file for the HD 76 race in Austin. I just sort of chuckled upon hearing that.
But while I was at community meeting last night I noticed that Tamayo's campaign guy had come in and dropped of law signs and campaign lit at the meeting. I guess he figured people would just be so excited about her that they would just take that stuff home.
No one took a sign, which also made made me chuckle.
But again, because of her lack of experience, she apparently doesn't know that you can't hand out partisan campaign materials at a city facility or event.
The neighborhood association meeting was held at a city facility.
Or she knew and just doesn't care about the rules.
One or the other.
