GOP Congressional Candidate Update

Well I've done some digging and with a little help from a source, I can update you on some of the GOP figures that are, or considering, a run for the GOP nomination to get wiped out by Congresswoman Escobar in November 2020.

Irene Armendariz-Jackson is considering a bid for the congressional seat. She worked a bit to help out Rick Seeberger in his last bid for the congressional seat. As you know, Seeberger had a range of financial issues that made him a very controversial pick for the GOP. He famously pulled a Norma Chavez and alleged that there was massive voter fraud that led to his defeat. Completely unsubstantiated, much like Norma Chavez's claims.

Blanca Trout is a Republican who is also a school board member on the Canutillo ISD Board of Trustees. She, I'm not exactly sure why, thinks she can beat Escobar in a general election. Again, I don't have the slightest clue what led her to the conclusion, but she is also considering a bid.

The El Paso GOP is supposedly getting behind Irene Armendariz-Jackson. One of the reasons, and I'm not making this up, is because one of her selling points is that she allegedly looks like Congresswoman Escobar. I'm not making that up.

She's also not Anthony Aguero, who makes even the El Paso GOP nervous because of his far-right reactionary stances on immigration and rhetoric. They don't actually do anything about him though because they are afraid of this platform of supporters from what I am told by a GOP insider.

Just like I told you all a long time ago I told you guys that bigly Trump supporter Samuel Williams wasn't really an independent and was eventually wise up and run as a Republican, and he has. If you look at social media, you'll see pretty quickly that there is already a war between the two (I guess over who can be the more extremist anti-immigrant?).

You can't make this stuff up.
