EPCC Trustee Candidate's Voting Record

EPCC Board of Trustees Candidate Nina Piña (I'm not making that up, its really her name) is running for the office formerly held by Art Fierro.

Now here is what really bothers me about her...she's an adult in her 50's and the fact that she's never voted for any other election but a presidential is pretty embarrassing.

The fact that she didn't think enough of community college to have been bothered to vote in any of the community college elections prior to running for office is even more embarrassing.

She's being run by Ed Escudero.

Anywho, Escudero apparently is trying to become a political figure these days, being on the board of directors for CREEED, a pro charter school group of El Paso's upper-crusters.

I guess he's Piña's cuñado or something.

Now I don't know what his beef is, but he's got something against Sun Circle. He recently tried to strong arm a candidate into firing the firm. The candidate told him hell no and it made Escudero look like a fool.

I guess he was pissed about it so he made sure his sister-in-law didn't go with them. But if Escudero is calling the shots for her campaign, he should stick to being a low-rent stunt double for a novela actors because her campaign materials are really ugly.

I mean they make Christina Sanchez's salmon, purple, and light blue thing look almost not ugly.

He better hope they don't hold a grudge because the next candidate he's tied to might end up having to deal with a firm who might just gift all their services to an opponent just to send Escudero a message.

I assume Escudero is doing that because he wants people to go with Forma instead of Sun Circle, but well no pun intended, but the Sun is setting on Forma Group.

Fortunately for Escudero, Piña has an opponent that should be really easy to beat, despite the fact that she never gave a damn about El Paso Community College until she saw a chance to acquire a seat.

But here's the kicker...Escudero isn't all that bright after all...for all his efforts to make sure Piña didn't go to Sun Circle...the person she ended up hiring works with...wait for it...Sun Circle!

Oh yeah, here's her voting record. Like I said, never voted in an election that wasn't a presidential election...seriously that is a full grown adult that has only voted 4 times in her life.
