Hatch'n A Plot...

Let me tell you what my beef is with Hatch.

I can’t stand moral hypocrisy. It drives me crazy.

A short while ago I was contacted by Trent Hatch. Homie slid into my DM on Twitter like he was looking for some late night Grindr action but accidentally hit up a straight vato.

Hey, they call me Big Sexy for a reason, you know what I’m sayin’?

Point is, stick with me on this post because you are about to see the most blatant example of hypocrisy I can remember in a really in a long time.

So Hatch decides to hit my DM on twitter and bitch about what I’ve written about him. The conversation mainly was around the fact that he resented me calling him out on his support for the GOP and me referring to him as anti-immigrant (he is).

My biggest takeaway from the conversation was that he was an arrogant white man who wasn’t used to brown people standing up to him.

But it got me to thinking about his recent abrupt resignation.

You memmur when Dori Fenenbock was on EPISD? Remember all the allegations that went flying around about how she allegedly using her position on EPISD for all Manny of alleged political activities?

Well if you recall during that time, Trent Hatch decided to become the moral and ethical compass of the EPISD Board of Trustees and he launched a pretty obvious political attack on Susie Byrd. You remember that?

There was a few open records requests done that was orchestrated to get Hatch the freedom to call for an audit.

Remember the open records request thing. Its gonna come into play in the next blog post. Its really important you remember that.

Now before the audit even proceeded forward, the Texas Association of School Boards had already said it was unnecessary, indicating that there was nothing wrong with Susie Byrd’s activities.

As it turns out, allegations have now arisen that Hatch never actually lived in the district while he was launching the moral attack on Susie Byrd.

He was the so-called moral and ethical compass of EPISD  - and was allegedly deceiving people the whole time! He knew good and well where he lived. He knew exactly where he laid his head down at night.

And if you read this article from media coverage of the story, Hatch is quoted as saying, "We need to be as transparent as possible..." Seriously, the guy that recently resigned because he allegedly didn't live in his district had the audacity, just a few months ago, to have the nerve to talk about the "need to be as transparent as possible"?

I can’t underscore the level of hypocrisy in all of that. The Fenenbock, Hatch, Loweree, Carlos Sierra click have redefined hypocrisy.

Carlos Sierra? Oh yes indeed. I’ll detail that in the next post. But lets be real, underneath every political scandal in town, Carlos Sierra eventually comes crawling out like a roach when you turn the lights on.

But seriously, what more fraudulent act could a trustee allegedly pull than to be a school board president allegedly never having lived where he said he did.

Allegedly.

Ironically the only thing that audit showed was that she hadn’t, but it was a lot like the things Dori Fenenbock was trying to do.

Keep in mind who rode shotgun for Hatch on that politically-motivated audit...Mickey Loweree.

And remember who called this stupidity out when it was happening...Al Velarde.

Here's the deal, this scandal is going to be a pretty big deal because the implications are pretty big. He signed a lot of contracts as school board president. Taxpayers sent him on a lot of trips. I sure hope the self-appointed moral and ethical compass of the district decides to make taxpayers whole again and pay them back!
