Dori Fenenbock & Tax Hypocrisy
There's a reason that Fenenbock doesn't speak about specifics very often. Because when she does, she gets herself in trouble.
So I gotta call from a homie that was at the "annual Labor Day" breakfast today and was told that Dori Fenenbock was talking about the problem this community has with high taxes and the debt we are saddled with.
So hol' up - slow ya roll...

This is Dori on election night for the bond. You'd think she was elected to something right? Even back then she had everything planned to run for congress. That bond election was what she planned to be her springboard toward higher office. Also, these pictures are from her campaign website.
It was all designed to be the Dori Fenenbock show. It was a marked difference from President Haggerty and the YISD board who were very low key in the passage of their bond. The President wasn't the center of the show.
Funny thing about that bond...that she is now getting heat over since it has been passed. The bond was the LARGEST EVER ATTEMPTED in El Paso County. Seriously it was the biggest ever.
Thats not hyperbole, its a fact.
So that is why I had to try to see if I could find video of what my homeboy told me Dori Fenenbock said at the breakfast because I couldn't believe it was actually a sentence that came out of her mouth.
If you watch this short video you will hear Fenenbock complain about two very interesting things - high taxes and debt.
Again, her claim to fame is passing the HIGHEST BOND IN THE HISTORY OF EL PASO COUNTY.
And then she has the nerve to complain about El Pasoans paying high taxes and the debt they have to deal with?
Well maybe if your political springboard wasn't the largest bond ever attempted in El Paso, Texas then people wouldn't look at you has a complete hypocrite. But when you pass the highest bond in the history of El Paso...guess what...youre kinda the problem. You can't complain about high taxes and debt when you're literally the reason why people that live in EPISD have to pay higher taxes and have a big debt to pay!
