Truth in Advertising
There is a major messaging screw-up in a campaign for an upcoming election.
I'm going to do the candidate a favor and not say who it is, but a consultant that was hired to help with messaging put out material that implied an office could stop tax hikes.
That office has ZERO to do with controlling tax hikes and that message is not only inaccurate, it looks like a deliberate attempt to be deceptive.
I'm confident that wasn't the intent of the candidate, which is why they aren't getting busted out in public.
But its probably the biggest screw up in a local campaign I've seen in a very long time.
