I'm glad that after almost 20 years congress finally came to its
senses and reversed a shameful policy that treated gay and lesbianservice members, who devoted their lives in service to their country, in a dishonorable way.
It shouldn't have taken this long and I wish we'd had leadership on this issue long before now, but I'm glad they
finally figured it out.
