El Paso Young Democrats Announce Endorsements
The El Paso Young Democrats endorsed candidates in a meeting earlier this evening.
In District 1, the vote was a tie between Lyda Ness-Garcia and Dr. Theresa Ware-Asbury. As a result, there will be no endorsement issued in that race.
In District 5, the endorsement goes to Mayela Mejia.
In District 6, the endorsement was awarded to City Rep Eddie Holguin by unanimous vote.
District 8 endorsement went to Cortney Niland.
The official announcements will be made tomorrow on the El Paso Young Democrats Facebook page and via press release.
