Below is video of Theresa Caballero, who is pursing a judicial position in this year's primary election. As you will see and hear, she is asked by a student from Burges High School about being cited for contempt of court in her recent successful defense of Judge Regina Arditti at a debate on Saturday. Interestingly I heard that she was supposed to have some sort of legal proceeding on that issue this month, ironically in the very court she is pursing to be the judge of, but it no longer appears to be happening. The student wanted to know if Caballero was the judge in the case, what she would've done differently and why. Caballero started the answer off by saying, "Well I wouldn't have started the case off by being a bigot..." Which made me laugh because she represented Tom Brown and the rest of the El Pasoans for Traditional Family values even more recently than the Arditti case. Gotta love this town.
